Raising Of The Sails – this team activity starts the adventure off on the right foot with basic sailing skills; learning the workings of rigging and lines and trimming the sails to maximize the capture of wind. |

Trash Talk – takes us through the different types of debris and the life cycle of trash and its effects on the marine environment |

Know Yer Vessel Matey – through crew mentoring and instruction, sailors learn the tools and language of sailing |

Find The Treasure Ye Seek – sailors use nautical charts and navigational equipment to find the treasure chest that is Egmont Key |

Grub Time/Galley Duty – One team prepares the feast; the other swabs the galley |

Sailors Take The Helm – is it mutiny or helm training? Each sailor takes a turn at the wheel. |

Shipshape – during this exercise, sailors learn how to secure the sails and rigging and clearing the decks after the day’s sail |
